Kishtwar, February 6, 2025 – The District Rent Assessment Committee, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan (JKAS), convened today and approved 15 rent assessment cases across various government departments.

The approved cases included rent assessments for Police, Social Welfare, JKRLM, Education, Health, Animal Husbandry, FCS&CA, and ISM Department. The committee reviewed the rent fixation for structures where government offices operate throughout the district.

Key Decisions from the Meeting:

Timely Rent Payments – The DC directed officials to ensure timely disbursement of rent to property owners.
Property Safety Measures – Government and rented properties must be well-maintained and safeguarded.
Record Verification – Rent payments will be processed only after proper verification of records.
Deferred CaseOne case was deferred for re-verification and will be reviewed in the next meeting.

The meeting was attended by ADC Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal, ASP Kishtwar Pawan Sharma, AD FCS&CA Shafqat Ali Keen, DNO Ayush, Dy. CEO, and other concerned officials.

This decision ensures transparency, accountability, and smooth functioning of government offices operating in rented accommodations across Kishtwar.
