Cold and dramatic. Town temperatures range from -2°C to 21°C. High areas see sub-zero temperatures and heavy snowfall. Warwan, Marwah, Dachhan, and Paddar are cut off from the rest of the world for 5–6 months. Chowgan transforms into a skiing and sledging paradise.
