Under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav IAS, a specialized operation was conducted at the Govt Degree College Road in Kishtwar.
Led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kishtwar, Varunjeet Singh Charak, the team comprised Tehsildar Kishtwar, Muneeb Umar, and officials from the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD).
The operation was aimed at ensuring compliance with established norms and regulations of traffic. As a result, several violators included School Vehicle services were identified and appropriately fined for their non-compliance with prescribed regulations.
Additionally, the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) authorities took action by issuing fines to parked vehicles idling alongside roads. They also provided cautionary advisories, urging vehicle owners not to park in unauthorized or incorrect areas, as such practices lead to congestion and pose significant traffic management challenges within the town.
The administration remains committed to upholding the law and ensuring the safety and well-being of all citizens. Such initiatives will continue to be undertaken to maintain public order and safety within the district.
