Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a visionary initiative, has now extended its impact to encompass six additional panchayats within District Kishtwar. This expansion includes Panchayats Tiyari & Ishtayari of Block Paddar, Panchayat Chatroo Lower-C & Chatroo Lower-A of Block Inderwal, and Panchayat Trigam-A & Trigam-B of Block Trigam.
The ongoing series of diverse activities under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra have sparked enthusiastic participation from local residents, showcasing a collective eagerness to witness the tangible effects of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes in alignment with the spirit of VBSY.
Notable highlights from the engagement include a warm reception for the "Bharat Viksit Van," the broadcast of a recorded message from the Hon'ble Prime Minister, heartfelt Sankalp (pledges) by attendees, and the poignant sharing of success stories by beneficiaries of these schemes through the 'Meri Kahani Meri Zubani' initiative.
The agenda encompassed informative sessions such as Satat Krishi Activities, interactive dialogues with progressive farmers focusing on Natural Farming & Soil Health Card, and captivating cultural performances including 'Dharti Kahe Pukar ke' along with Swachata songs, featuring women SHG Members, school students, and local artists.
Furthermore, the event also hosted engaging activities such as on-the-spot quizzes, the recognition and rewarding of women achievers and local sportspersons, and the celebration of remarkable milestones achieved by Gram Panchayats, including 100% digitization of land records, ODF+ status, and the successful saturation of Jal Jeevan Mission.
Complementing the enriching activities were on-spot services like health camps conducting TB Screening and Sickle Cell Anaemia Screening in Tribal Areas, enrollment and biometric authentication for PM Ujjwala, and the enlistment of MY BHARAT volunteers.
