District Collector Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav IAS Leads Joint Inspection for Compensation Claims along Singhpora-Vailoo National Highway at Chatroo

In a concerted effort to ensure transparency and accuracy in compensation claims, District Collector Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav IAS, spearheaded a joint inspection today in the Sub Division Chatroo.
The inspection, aimed at randomly scrutinizing compensation claims, involved a collaborative team comprising officers from Revenue, NHIDCL, PWD, Horticulture, and the Forest Department.
The inspection team, diligently led by District Collector Dr Devansh Yadav, included SDM Chatroo Naeem Ur Rahman, Tehsildar Chatroo Shigah Hanieb, GM NHIDCL G S Sangha, Chief Horticulture Officer Kishtwar Sajjid Mustafa, AEE PWD, and Forest Range Officer, along with other relevant officials.
On-the-spot random verification of records was conducted with meticulous attention by the authorities, under the direct supervision of District Collector Kishtwar, ensuring a thorough and comprehensive examination of compensation claims along the Singhpora Vailoo National Highways.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, actively engaged with the land losers during the inspection, conveyed that the 3G notification for the final award is to be issued. He further assured that the disbursement of compensation claims for structures and both fruit and non-fruit-bearing trees along the Singhpora Vailoo National Highways will follow in due course.
The joint inspection reflects the commitment of the local administration to uphold a fair and just process for compensating those affected by infrastructure development.
