The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan, JKAS, today holds the Single Window Committee Meeting.
The main agenda of the meeting was to address the request made by the CVPPL, represented by the General Manager (GM) of the Pakal Dul Hydroelectric (HE) Project.
The request pertains to obtaining Single Window Clearance for a proposed quarry land located on the right bank of the Marusadar River, downstream of the Coffer Dam of the Pakal Dul HE Project, in order to secure a Quarry License.
During the meeting, the DC directed all concerned members of the Single Window Committee to thoroughly review the contents of the communication and conduct a joint inspection of the proposed site.
The committee has been given a one-week deadline to submit their comments/the No Objection Certificates (NOC) or otherwise for further process by the DC.
The meeting was attended by DFO Kishtwar Vishal Choudhary, CAO Kishtwar Amjad Hussain Malik, CHO Kishtwar Sajid Mustafa,ExEn PWD Ravinder Verma and besides other concerned officers and staff.
