In pursuance of the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Sh. Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kishtwar Sh. Pawan Kotwal (JKAS), today chaired a review meeting at the Meeting Hall of the Mini Secretariat, New DC Office Complex, Kishtwar, to assess the progress of Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID generation in the district.


At the outset, the ADC emphasized the significance of achieving universal ABHA ID coverage to enable citizens to seamlessly access digital health services and benefit from flagship health initiatives of the Government. 


He directed all concerned officers to intensify awareness campaigns and expedite the registration process across all medical zones and blocks of the district.


The ADC stressed the need for improved inter-departmental coordination and real-time monitoring to address implementation gaps and ensure that benefits reach every eligible citizen. 


He instructed all HODs of the line Departments to nominate one nodal person in their respective departments to oversee and facilitate ABHA ID enrolment.


Specific directions were issued to the ALC Kishtwar to ensure registration of around 10,000 labour union members associated with various hydroelectric power projects in the district, along with their family members. 


The ARTO Kishtwar was directed to create awareness among drivers and transporters and ensure their enrolment under the ABHA ID initiative.


Similar directions were issued to the departments including Education, ICDS, Social Welfare, RDD, Handloom, Health, NRLM, and others to ensure large-scale enrolment,  under the ABHA-ID Generation Programme in the district. 


The ADC reiterated that concerted efforts, proactive outreach and timely execution are essential to achieve saturation under ABHA ID generation in District Kishtwar.


The meeting was attended by PO ICDS Kishtwar Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma, CDPO Inderwal Dr. Kuldeep Kumar, ARTO Kishtwar Tasleem Wani, AlC Kishtwar Mamta Sudershan, BDO Hqrs Kishtwar Chandan Manhas, CDPO Kishtwar Rahidal Lone, CMO Kishtwar Dr. Yudhvir Singh Kotwal, BMO Kishtwar Dr. Anil Sharma, BMO Dachan Dr. Sajjad Hussain, BMO Chatroo Dr. Saima Agoo besides other Officers and Concerned Staff.
