Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) dedicated by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for patients under drug rehabilitation at district Hospital Kishtwar

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment today organized a function of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan to dedicate 25 Addiction Treatment Facilities (ATFs) to the nation.
One such Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) was dedicated to the District Hospital Kishtwar by Hon'ble Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virender Kumar to the District Hospital Kishtwar in the function through the video conference.
Among other dignities that graced the occasion at DH Kishtwar were Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav (IAS), SSP Kishtwar Khalil Ahmed Poswal (IPS), CMO Kishtwar Dr.M Y Mir, Medical Superintendent of DH Kishtwar Dr Javida Qazi, DSWO Kishtwar Zubair Ahmed, Tehsildar HQ Chander Shekhar Sharma.
Besides Medical officers and staff of DH Kishtwar also remained present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Nasha Mukht plegde was also administered to the staff members of DH Kishtwar.
Now at this addiction treatment facility of district Hospital Kishtwar , one of the best treatment options will be made available to patients under drug rehabilitation through this facility centre. Rehabilitation is made to provide resources and tools to those who suffer from substance abuse to help them to overcome it.
The therapies and treatments will be helpful to create a healthy lifestyle and change the patient’s attitudes and behaviors regarding substance abuse.
The people of Kishtwar have extended gratitude to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and have requested the Govt. to intensify the anti drug trafficking drive in district to eradicate the menace of drug abuse completely from district Kishtwar which is engulfing the entire youth society.
