DC Kishtwar presides over the Weekly Block Diwas programme at Chamoti Drabshalla
Listened to the Grievances of people and redressed majority of them on spot in consultation with concerned officers
Inaugurated the Health & Wellness Centre Drabshalla and approaching road to HWC

In order to listen and redress the grievances/ issues of people at their doorstep, District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS) today presided over the Weekly Block Diwas programme at Govt. Middle school Chamoti, a very remote and backward ST area of block Drabshalla.
Among other the programme was attended DDC member Drabshalla Ashok Kumar,ACD Kishtwar Atul Dutt Sharma, Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Sudershan Sharma,CDPO Drabshalla Farhat Shameem, AEE Jal Shakti besides representatives of other departments like RDD, education,Jal Shakti were also present in the block Diwas programme.
During the programme, Various issues pertaining to the panchayat were put forth by DDC member and public representatives of the areas which includes availability of drinking water under JJM, electrification to left out villages, upgradation of MS Chamoti to High School,Health Centre, PMGSY road for upper Chamoti,Payment of land Compensation under Chamoti Road, besides demanding jobs for their unskilled youths in Rattle Hydro electric project, Drabshalla.
DC Kishtwar heard all projected grievances patiently and tried to resolve the majority of them on the spot in negotiation with other concerned Officers of the departments by passing up a slew of directions.
He assured them that the rest of the grievances will be redressed in a time bound manner.
Speaking on the occasion,DC Kishtwar encouraged parents to ensure that all the identified 60 Out of School Children are sent back to school.
He added that 40 OOSC not having Birth certificates for which report with all documents will be submitted by Naib Tehsildar and DSEO to get certificates issued as per norms.
He also said that people need not to worry about the ongoing Anti-Encroachment Drive as the government is committed to safeguard the interests of common people.
Regarding the construction of Dispensary at Chamoti,DC Kishtwar directed sarpanch and concerned Naib Tehsildar to identify the land for the same.He also added that soon an ambulance will be made available for the area donated by Ratle Hydroelectric power project authorities under CSR which will carry Jananai Suraksha Yojna Pregnant Women to Drabshalla PHC on monthly basis.
AEE,Jal Shakti Department was directed to strictly adhere to the parameters under DPR of WSS Chamoti to ensure the water supply to the said habitations.
Deputy Commissioner further informed that an ST hostel and sports stadium will be taken up under RR plan and it will serve the needs of people soon.
He urged the Sarpanches to furnish a list of orphans to DSWO Kishtwar for providing them the Hostel Facilities under the departmental schemes.
Regarding the Road connectivity to left out habitations,the Deputy Commissioner stressed concerned PMGSY authorities to cover the left out habitations under the ongoing phase of PMGSY as per the guidelines given.
He also directed CEO Kishtwar to explore possibilities for the upgradation of MS Chamoti to High School and also ensure the repair and maintenance of said school under SAMAGRA.
Earlier, DC Kishtwar in presence of BDC chairman Drabshalla Suraj Singh,DDC member Drabshalla Ashok Kumar,ACD, CEO Kishtwar and ExEn PWD Ravinder Kumar inaugurated the Health & Wellness Centre Drabshalla besides the approaching road to HWC taken up under MGNREGA.
