Umer Saleem Naik and Sujal Sharma both hailing from the district of Kishtwar, have been chosen as promising football talents and sent to the prestigious Sudeva Delhi Football Club for residential training.
The District Administration Kishtwar and the Department of District Youth Services and Sports Kishtwar and Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPPL) played a crucial role in facilitating this opportunity for the young football aspirants.
As part of their selection, Umer and Sujal were awarded scholarships amounting to Rs. 75,000 each. This financial support will enable them to pursue their dreams and receive professional training at the renowned Sudeva FC training center in New Delhi. The club boasts state-of-the-art facilities and employs the best coaches from across the country.
The selection of Umer and Sujal took place during the first of it's kind National Level CVPPL Kishtwar Football Cup 2023 held at historic chowgan ground Kishtwar.
