Kishtwar, 9th July - The District Administration Kishtwar organized a distinguished felicitation ceremony at the Digital Movie Theatre, TRC Kishtwar, to acknowledge and honor the outstanding contributors of Kishtwar Idol Season 1 (Singing Competition) besides
the winners of 3rd Mount Everest International Music & Dance Sports Championship 2023 held at Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal.
The event showcased the remarkable journey of Kishtwar Idol. The felicitation ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS), President Municipal Council Kishtwar, Sajjad Najjar, DySP DAR Sajjad Khan, CEO Kishtwar Prehlad Bhagat, besides Winners of Kishtwar Idol, Singing Ambassador, Judges, Mentors, team members of Kishtwar Idol, Media persons and winners of Inter College College Competition remained present.
To commence the event, a captivating documentary highlighting the entire journey of Kishtwar was screened, prepared meticulously by the District Information Centre Kishtwar.
The documentary set the stage for an evening filled with appreciation and recognition.
The ceremony aimed to acknowledge and express gratitude to the esteemed judges, mentors, and team members who contributed their expertise and guidance throughout the exhilarating Kishtwar Idol Season 1. Their invaluable support played a vital role in making the talent hunt a resounding success.
The felicitation extended to the media personnel, who played a pivotal role in ensuring the coverage and promotion of the event, thereby creating widespread awareness and enthusiasm among the audience.
District Administration Kishtwar also felicitated Samridhi Sen ( Singer) and Tavishi Anand (Dancer) for wining gold medal in 3rd Mount Everest International Music & Dance Sports Championship 2023 held at Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar congratulated both of them and wished God speed in future endeavors.
Furthermore, the felicitation ceremony recognized the remarkable achievements of the Winner and Runner-up of the Inter College Dance Competition, which took place during the memorable two-day Sinthan Festival. Their dedication, skill, and passion for dance captivated the audience, leaving a lasting impression.
Samridhi Sen, (Singing Ambassdor of Kishtwar), Gandhi Krishan ( Winner of Kishtwar Idol Season 1-Senior Category),
Mamta Shan ( Winner of Kishtwar Idol Season 1-Junior Category) also sang beautiful songs on the occasion and make audience mesmerized with their melodious sound.
The District Administration Kishtwar took the opportunity to acknowledge the unwavering commitment and efforts of various dignitaries present at the event.
These included the President of the Municipal Council Kishtwar, the General Manager of NHIDCL Kishtwar, Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Kishtwar, PA to DC Kishtwar Uzair Talib. Their continuous support and encouragement have significantly contributed to the success of Kishtwar Idol.
While speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar said that we are committed to foster and nurture such talents and encourage their continued growth and contribution to the development of the district.
He congratulated the whole team for making Kishtwar Idol a grand success and looking forward to host the Season 2.
President MC Kishtwar; CEO Kishtwar, Official from JKAACL, Gulab Saify; Mentor Kishtwar Idol Rajesh Chander, Bansi Aryan, Mushtaq Kishtwar ; Judge of Kishtwar Idol Sanjeev Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
