DC Kishtwar Finalises Arrangements for Annual Shree Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra 2025 |
The District Administration Kishtwar, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan (JKAS), has finalized all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Annual Shree Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra 2025, scheduled to commence on June 26, 2025.
As per the schedule, the Holy Mace (Charri Mubarak) will arrive at Gauri Shankar Mandir, Sarkoot, Kishtwar on June 28, 2025.
In a joint review meeting held today with Officers from various line departments and members of the Hudh Mata Managing Committee, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed assessment of logistics, facilities, and safety measures to ensure a hassle-free pilgrimage experience.
Key directives issued by the DC included desilting of drains; ensuring an adequate supply of drinking water and clean washroom facilities at key points, including Gauri Shankar Mandir; maintenance of roads en route to the Yatra; enhancement of infrastructure from Kishtwar to Shri Hudh Mata Bhawan; arrangements for heli services, solar lighting, sanitation, electricity, medical aid, transportation facilities, deployment of additional generators (GenSets) to meet the power demands of pilgrims during the Yatra and strict adherence to safety protocols and health advisories by all pilgrims.
In response to the Hudh Mata Committee's request, the DC instructed SSP Kishtwar to ensure advanced security deployment and comprehensive surveillance for the entire Yatra duration.
Additional arrangements discussed included Deployment of security personnel and SDRF teams to accompany the Yatra,Placement of dustbins, ensuring cleanliness at all Langer (community kitchen) points,Availability of ration, fuel, and other essential logistics to support pilgrims.
The officers present assured the administration of a foolproof traffic management plan and comprehensive security arrangements to maintain order and safety throughout the pilgrimage.
The meeting was attended by SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh (JKPS), ADC Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal, CEO KDA/ACD Kishtwar Kaiser Bhawani, ACR Kishtwar Idrees Lone, DFO Marwah, CMO Kishtwar, Executive Engineers, other senior district officers, and members of the Hudh Mata Managing Committee.
